Free Airplane Rides!

An adventure for young people ages 8 through 17! The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) is offering a program of free rides called Young Eagles. Last year over 100 youngsters had the opportunity to experience an airplane ride from the Hawthorne Airport. Now that the flying restrictions have been lifted, this is your chance to go flying.

The South Bay's Chapter 96 is offering free rides  on Nov. 3, 2001 to the first 60 persons that register. The flights will be from Hawthorne Airport, at Nat's Restaurant. Participants should check in by noon. For registration call Glenn Parkinson, our Young Eagles Coordinator, at (310) 374-4812.
